Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My right thigh is really bothering me. From the groin area down about 6 . It aches, making walking tough. It started last week, gradually but got bad quickly. It s all around the entire thigh, not just localized like a bruise. Knees, ankles, toes are no problem, just the one thigh. It feels like the ache is inside, not like itchy skin. Any ideas?
I can certainly understand your concern towards your groin pain, i would like to know whether you are an athlete as it is most common in them due to strain of muscles , ligaments or tendons , mainly in fooball players.
other common causes could be due to inguinal hernia or stones in kidneys, or some testicular pain ,so Iwould like to know whether you have any other symptoms like renal pain ie pain above the buttocks on both sides etc. however I would advise you to consult your doctor and get the hernia test done ,and an ultrasound to know the cause, or get back to me with these tests, so that i can help you.hope this information would help you.
post your further questions if any thank you
